My dear friends were asking " Hey Delphine, did you find time to practice felting?" not really, but I try my best!
Here's a tiny bird I made:
The tiny bird is sitting in front of with my Cotori journal, on the cover my favourite book "I can fly", with illustrations by Mary Blair:
My son and I both love this very cute book. I bought numerous copies, always ending giving it to a friend. But this one I will keep, because it's a gift from a very dear friend. Yoko, I'm sorry, someone loved it so dearly he chewed a corner off!
Everybody these days is talking about Mary Blair's fantastic illustrations, but I feel like I should add a few words about the text by Ruth Krauss. This book doesn't show a little girl cooking or doing chores. This book doesn't have a strong ethic to make you think about. This book doesn't send any bunny to bed. It's about fun, it's about the pure joy of imaginary play. I love such a book dearly, I'm so fed up to feed my son moral by the pound each time we open a book.
