En general quand je promets un truc ca finit par venir. Ca peut prendre son temps ( entre 10mn et 15 ans), mais ca finit par venir...genre je me suis promise un jour de vivre a SF, ca m'a juste pris 8ans, j'aime pas me presser.

12 years old nephew

I have a 12 years nephew. What's fun with 12 years nephews is that they live in a completely different world. In their world a lot of stuffs are over the edge top of the tree cool you didn't know it could ever exist or be interesting at all. On the other hand they invent brand new jokes you found yourself brand new when you were 12, 25 years ago. It makes you feel a bit silly, and old too-of course.

My very own 12 years old nephew ( hi sweetheart) thinks he has invented the transparent icon. He copies part of his background in the icon. Then he positions the icon exactly in the right place on his desktop. It's cool, and brand new of course.Yup. Maybe a little bit time consuming. Unfortunately, my 12 years old nephew has a silly geeky auntie, and I think I can do better.

You can download the one pixel icon here . The problem is my icon is really TRANSPARENT. If you don't click on the one red pixel (on mac OS X 10.4.10), it won't work. Lots of giggle time people, lots of giggle time indeed.

I deny any responsibility in any silly use you will make of this icon.

Copyrights update

Ca me desespere toujours quand je rale sur les copyrights : ceux qui me pillent continuent a me piller, par contre ceux qui ne font de mal a personne sont super inquiets...J'ai recu plein d'emails de gens adorables qui se demandent si ils n'ont pas fait de betises. Et en general non, pas du tout, z'etes cromimi les gens.

Donc ;
-si vous avez une des mes images en fond d'ecran (mais que vous ne la redistribuez pas)

-ou que vous l'avez imprimee pour mettre ici ou la chez vous ( mais que vous ne vendez pas des posters), ben oui vous pouvez y aller pas de soucis...

-Pour faire un lien vers chez moi, pas besoin de demander. Si j'ai le courage je vous ferais meme des icones avec code.

Voila. Je remercie encore les gens inquiets trop mignons qui m'ont envoyes des emails pour savoir ci ou ca. Ca me touche beaucoup. D'ailleurs aujourd'hui c'est fond d'ecran special pour Damia qui etait inquiete:

I got a lot of emails about copyrights. Each time I talk about it, very nice people are worried to do wrong, and those who do wrong continue doing wrong anyway.

Here's and update:

-you can use my pictures as computer backgrounds ( here's one if you like blue). As long as you don't redistribute them it's really OK.

-If you printed one of my pictures to put in your cubicle, it's fine, as long as you don't sell it or redistribute it.

-you don't need to ask to put a link on your website . Someday I'll post icons with code , but today I'm lazy.

This, with a big hug to my readers who wrote worried emails. You are fine, and sweet, and I apologize if I worried you!

There is far too many people who think that if my pictures are online it means that they can do anything with them. 
Once again : it's ok  to link to my blog, write an article about it and show pictures, but
-You are not allowed to use my pictures to sell things ( especially home made jewelry. I don't know what's wrong with you people who do homemade jewelry, but the only person who has the right to use my pictures to sell jewelry is my dear friend Hortense )
-You are not allowed to use my pictures to illustrate one of your post , even with a copyright and a link, except if you asked before doing it and I said "oh yes please do it".
-You are not allowed to do objects inspired from my designs and illustrations. No fabrics, no toys no nothing.
-You are not allowed to redistribute my freebies. Put a link instead.

You are allowed to use my pictures for personal use only:
-If  write an article about the Non dairy Diary and it and want to show pictures. Please be kind enough to tell me so I can say " How kind of you thank you very much indeed", and don't forget to put a link and a copyright on your website.
-If it's specified in the post, if it's in the freebie section.

Bird background

Inspired by the transparent screens, I decided to make my own, with a twist: I pictured birds on my wall. I painted a texture of my wall the right colors and added the birds with a shadow consistent with the one coming from my window. It looks a bit weird, it suits me :)

C'est pas tout ca les ecrans transparents, mais il y a moyen de faire plus rigolo. J'ai peint une texture du mur derriere mon ordi et j'ai rajoute mes oiseaux avec la bonne orientation lumineuse. C'est debile d'accord, mais c'est rigolo et ca me va :)

Une sculpture d'Adelie est cachee dans le paysage, sauras-tu la retrouver? Pardon Adelie, elle trone sur mon bureau, du coup elle est dans l'image...Avec ma collec de jouets japonais animes, huhu :)

Blankie background

I needed a blankie background picture for my computer. I thought it would be cozy to cheer up in cold winter time.  So I did it for me first, and then of course I had to share it. I took a look at my stats and made it in the 3 most common sizes my readers use, so there must be the exact one for you!

J'ai eu envie d'une image doudou pour mon ecran. Il fait pas chaud, il me fallait un truc tout doux pour boire mon the au lait avec du miel en regardant mes emails. Alors je l'ai fait...Et puis maintenant c'est bon,teste pour vous et tout et tout, a vous de l'utiliser!
