I thought this deserved translation, because it says exactly what I fear of: making always the same boring thing.

Art must be entertaining, being an artist is not showing off.

Del, your experiment is lovely :)
Interesting observation by Bobbi. I think I tend to agree, and disagree at the same time. It has been my observation that as soon as one says "digital painter" there is an assumption that somehow the work is not quite "original" due to the very nature of the medium. While it is true that there are digital painters out there who paint as Bobbi described, there are also digital painters out there who are also traditional painters, who explore, experiment and untilize the digital medium in much the same way one would explore tempura paint or watercolors. And in much the same way as artists using traditional meduims, a digital painter is likely to explore concepts, techniques, explore the possibilities of some aspect of thier medium, perhaps sometimes to the point of repetition, but couldn't one say that of Mondrian as well?
Just my humble opinion ;)

I feel like one of those who explore, you are too indeed!...But I also know some people who are not really exploring because they find it too difficult.
